Heading back to NC
Well, as I write this I’m sitting in the airport in Las Vegas, NV. This is the first of two stops before I find myself back in Wilmington, NC… just in time for the archery deer season opener on Saturday morning!
Last year’s hunt was exciting, but the bear got my deer before I did… and that just doesn’t seem fair. So I’m heading back to try it again.
I’ll be on and off this computer thing while I’m out there, but unless something big comes along, I doubt there’ll be any updates until I get back to California.
In the meantime, here’s hoping for a great big whitetail buck! It’s time to end this archery jinx!

Phillip,
I’m pulling for ya man. I hope you can finally put one down with stick and string. I’m looking forward to the update when you get back.

Phil,
And to add to the pressure, even if you are successful you still owe the hunting community hogs taken on archery and pistol.
Good luck and be safe.

Welcome back to NC Phil. Hope you had some luck over the weekend. We stuck with dove hunting…can’t pass up an invitation to Open Grounds farm! I’ll miss most of bow season due to work, so your reports will have to suffice!
