Hog Blog Theme Song – The Official Video!
Well, here it is at last… or at least most of it. The Hog Blog Theme song is three and a half minutes long, and I couldn’t stretch that video clip quite that far. But believe me, we’ll be hearing more of this one in future vids!

In the interest of full disclosure, that video is mildly misleading. Sure, it all happened at Tejon, but the running hog and the dead one that follows are different pigs.
All of the really big pigs in that scene were wet sows. The entire hillside was covered with babies from about two pounds to 20. I literally crawled through a minefield of squeaking, rooting piglets. By the time I was ready to shoot, my heart was beating so hard my eyeballs were pulsing, and I still had to pick a safe hog to kill. That little 100-pounder at the top of the screen showed up at just the right time, but luck was on his side when I practically stepped on a little squeaker and the whole herd bolted.
I choked the pistol shot. I killed a hog later that day with the rifle, but the ones in the video got clean away.
It’s still one of my favorite video clips, though.

COOOOOL. Loved it. Hey Mike, not bad for an old fart. The scenes of the hunting were great. The final scene of the shot of the hog WOW… ummm did you get him? Just had to ask you left me hanging there bud.
