Miscellanea And Tidbits
OK, how about something with a little less controversy… it’s getting a little heavy around here.
First of all, the Hog Blog got mention in an unexpected site. The site, Criminal Justice Careers has posted its list of the 50 Best Blogs for Gun Enthusiasts, and sure enough, the Hog Blog is there! I’m not sure what the relevance is, but for the time being I’m happy to be listed.
On another note, as a follow up to my recent post about the Hogzilla movie, I contacted the folks behind Pig Hunt, The Movie as well. I was just curious about how things were going with their film, and if we’d be seeing it available at Amazon or Netflix any time soon. The bad news is the film hasn’t found a distributor yet. The good news is, it’s still making the rounds at screenings and festivals. If you’re interested, here is the upcoming schedule:
- March 24th – 7pm - Northwest Film Forum Seattle
- March 28th – 9:30pm - Method Film Fest Calabasas
- April 10th and 11th – 12am – Clay Theatre SF
- May 7th-15th Santa Cruz Film Festival (Time TBD)
And here’s a request to readers. If you haven’t had a chance to check out the website for the movie, take a look. If you think you’d be interested in seeing this film, I’d love to get a general gauge of what hunters think about this thing. If there were a special screening in your area, would you go see it? (And yeah, I realize that this kind of film isn’t going to appeal to everyone.)

Man, you are getting to be a real celebrity these days Phillip! Keep up the good work as I always knew that you would be a star someday.
Best wishes and more exposure!

You are quickly becoming out of our league Phillip. Another mention in a prominent place. Nice!
And, if we’re being honest, I don’t watch many movies anyway, so the chances of me seeing that movie are slim to none.
