Memorable Memorial Day Tejon Hunt – Video Pt1
Here’s the first of two videos from the Memorial Day hunt at Tejon Ranch.
You can read the story of the hunt a couple of posts back, if you’re up to my usual long tale. Otherwise, enjoy the movie.

Cool video Phillip. I always love watching ‘em. Almost as much as I love making them!

[...] Yeah, I know… it’s been so long now it’s hardly relevant. And honestly, the footage isn’t all that great. But I promised, and I need to start finishing these video series (unlike the last Colorado elk hunt video). So here goes. If you’ve already forgotten part 1, you can see it here. [...]

I live in CA, but I’ve been paying to hunt hogs in TX for years (it comes out cheaper in some ways)… so I wondering if someone could tell me what it would cost me to hunt in Tejon?
Thanks in advance!

Hi Patrick,
Tejon Ranch has a website: http://www.hunttejon.com that lists their memberships, guided hunt rates, and more importantly, the dates and costs for their unguided “hog management hunts”. These hunts generally run in the neighborhod of $450. That’s a two and a half-day hunt with one hog per hunter limit. They also book private hunts for groups (8 hunters or more), although the calendar is pretty solidly packed by now.
Check out the Tejon site, and if you still have questions, give Lana or Barbara a call (they’re listed on the site). I can offer more personal experience if you need it.
