    Hung up for content

    It’s Thursday.

    There’s nothing motivational about Thursdays.

Sure, tomorrow is Friday.  The weekend comes next.

    a hog

But Thursday is really only about four days away from Monday.  And Mondays suck.

Except this coming Monday, which is a holiday…although since I’m self employed I don’t really get holidays.  My client, however, does, so that means no work for me… which means no pay for me.

I’m whining.  Let me wipe my nose.

Point is, I just can’t come up with anything exciting to write about today.  I have a big hog hunting trip coming up next weekend, at Tejon Ranch, but if I write about that now, what will I write about next week?  Do you see my quandary?

I checked the online news sources, in hopes of finding something offbeat or important.  But there’s nothing there.  No one has sent me anything funny or interesting, so nothing there.  Brad, over at Southern Adventures blog does have a pretty cool video of someone shooting a bunch of hogs at night, using night-vision technology.   That’s worth checking out if you haven’t seen it already.   There are several more similar vids on YouTube if you enjoyed it.

So there ya go.  I’m gonna go read for a while now.  Hopefully, inspiration will strike deep and hard tomorrow.  This weekend I will be testing some new ammo in my .308, and will also be sighting in Kat’s .270 with some Barnes ammo for next week’s hog hunt.

    Stay tuned.

    Please.

I hate those days when you’re desperately looking for information and nothing seems to strike a spark. I think everyone who writes a blog has been there at one time or another.

You mean to tell me that you hunt hogs with that big bore rifle, why in my day we used to shot them things with a 22 long rifle and put them down with only one shot right between the eyes or behind the ear. now thats hog hunting with a thrill.

      Deerslayer, thanks for dropping by.

Well we used to chase em down on foot and strangle ‘em with our bare hands, but once the thrill went out of that I decided we may as well just blow ‘em up with the magnum rifles.
